Madrid/Castelló, September 23 (EFE).- The actors Petra Martínez and Juan Margallo will premiere the newly received 2022 National Theater Award in the city of Castelló, where this Friday they will perform “La senorita doña Margarita”, directed by Margallo and starring Martínez.

“When I close my eyes, I see myself on stage with Juan, alive, with children, with friends. Juan and I with our discussions, everything,” says Efele, an award-winning actress with her husband Juan Margallo.

“Juan and I are incredulous. It’s very nice that they gave them to both of us. Our careers have been united, we have always worked together,” said Martínez (Linares, Jaén, 1944).

“As the years go by, the more I like the awards, the more exciting they are,” adds Petra Martínez in her statement to Efe on the way to Castelló, where this afternoon she will go to the tables of the Universitat paranymph. He admits that although he argues with Juan, “we have the ability to take all things into the realm of humor, both at work and at home,” adds Martínez.

He insists that when they argue, “we break the tension with humor and usually say, ‘Hey, we’re going to die,’ and call it quits.”
